We offer a variety of reading and writing literacy courses for students in grades 3rd through 12th. Each course focuses on building reading comprehension and writing skills along with real-world applications and authentic experiences. 

You can register for a course by clicking the enroll button and selecting the course you are interested in for your student. Follow the instructions to complete your registration.

The cost of our courses varies depending on the subject and length of the course. Courses range from $100 for a one day class to $600 for a week long class to $1200 for a month long program. The Writing School LA is also proud to offer scholarships and financial aid for eligible families. Classes will be held at university, college, and private school locations in Los Angeles County area. Final locations will be confirmed by January/February. For updates, sign up for our email newsletter below.

We provide a set of books for the course, classwork packets each week, writing supplies to keep, daily snacks and refreshments, and a take-home folder at the end of the week. 

Yes, two field trips are included with each week's enrollment. The field trips are designed to complement the curriculum and provide real-world experiences related to reading and writing like trips to local libraries and museums, guest speakers, and trips to gaming and creative design studios. Scheduled field trip locations will be finalized up to two weeks in advance of the term start for enrolled students.
